Personal Information:
Dr Khuntia has been in practice since 2004 and joined VMOC in 2010. He serves on multiple national committees, including the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) educational board. He is and has been a refresher course speaker for lung and brain tumors for ASTRO. He also is a Radiation Oncology Oral Board Examiner for the Central Nervous System and Pediatric tumor sections for the American Board of Radiology. He also serves and has served as a principal investigator on numerous clinical trials involving brain and lung tumors. He is also considered one of the pioneers in lung mesh brachytherapy. Dr Khuntia enjoys tennis, golf, fishing, travel and teaching. He is married with 2 children.
